FAQ
Who can come to Kids Club?
Saturday after lunch screenings are for 3-12 year olds. No unaccompanied adults. No unaccompanied children under 8 years (please be aware that we are not providing official childcare and be sure to collect your child at the end of the screening, there is no lobby at the UPP for them to wait in and we will need to clean the auditorium for the next screening). Please see our new Kids Club page under ‘Events’ for upcoming screenings and membership information.
Who can come to Baby Club?
Thursday lunchtime screenings are exclusively for parents with babies under 1 year old. No baby, no entry. We’ll be showing a film from our regular programme, there’s room for your prams/pushchairs in the auditorium, drinks and bar snacks will be served to you in your seats and, of course, low lights will be left on and we’ll have somewhere for you to change nappies. Doors open at 12:00, the film will start at about 12:30 (when everyone is settled) and we’ll be done in time for the school run.
Can I buy tickets over the telephone?
I’m afraid that we do not have the manpower to open the Box Office until half an hour before the start time of our films when we start to sell tickets. With only one one person in the box office and only one telephone line it isn’t really feasible to take telephone bookings at the same time. We would appreciate it if you could buy your advance tickets either online via this site or, if that’s not possible, in person at the Box Office.
Who is eligible for reduced price concessionary tickets?
Seniors (over 60 and retired)
Claimants (unemployed, income support)
Under 18
Students (full time only)
– and we will ask you to provide proof of status at the Box Office
Why can’t I book tickets online?
We sell our tickets via WeGotTickets and reservations for tickets on the same day close at 6pm, or half an hour before the film if earlier. If you miss this and want to see the film the same night, the box office opens half an hour before the first film, so you could ring to check there are seats still available.
Are the seats assigned?
No, you can choose your own seats when you arrive.
Can I book tickets in advance?
Yes! You can book online via this website, or drop in when the box office is open (half an hour before each film) if you’d like to purchase advance tickets.
Are there refreshments available?
We have a fully-licensed bar in the auditorium, so you can buy snacks, hot drinks (including mulled wine in the winter months!), and lots more besides.
